Autism Networks (A.N) provide safe social space, information and help for people with Autism, their families and carers, giving them the opportunity to find friends and support and to raise awareness amongst our local community. We also help our service users to develop social skills, increase their self confidence and lower their sense of isolation.
By becoming a volunteer with Autism Network (A.N) you will have many different opportunities to contribute, regardless of your age, experience, or ability.Your involvement will be of great value to us, whether it’s one hour, one day or a more regular commitment.
Autism Networks is committed to recognising the input of our volunteers and we will ensure that all volunteers receive the support and training required. We are a charity made up of volunteer with no paid staff presently in post. However, we are keen to keep growing! We are close to the library and police station and a convenient access to all transport links with a small car park in front of building.
Autism Networks is a small, registered charity & company limited by guarantee located in the heart of Crewe town centre. The centre is a place of respite for the young people and their families offering them a safe haven where they can attend and not be judged for any behaviour which might be deemed to be out of the ordinary.

Volunteer For Clear Up!
We are looking for a volunteers willing to help paint, tidy, organise the reopening of the Resource Centre!
We require an immediate start, however one off help will be ok. 1hour, 2hr each week on days you can help or less will be fine.

Volunteers for Cafe
We are currently looking for volunteers to help with the opening of our new café.
Volunteers are required to work in the new café hours to suit. Full training and food hygiene certification will be needed to assist in this enviroment.(Certificate can be arrange). However, if we do pay for any certification some commitment must be given by any possible candidates.

Volunteers For Activities & Planning
Volunteers are needed to help with either planning or supporting activities. During the activities you will:
- 1 observe service users and you will need to always promote health and safety.
- 2 monitor the use of signing in sheet making sure a true record is kept during the session.
- 3 socialise with service users (including parents) during each session.
- 4 help to organise any equipment and help to store it away.

Most of the service users of the Autism Networks (A.N.) resource centre are vulnerable individuals.
To fully safeguard these individuals all committee members, and volunteers will be subject to all necessary pre-volunteer checks.
For you to fully support and safeguard the individuals who use our resources, Autism Networks (A.N.) will provide you with all the necessary training.
You will have agreed your volunteering hours before starting as a volunteer. These times will be flexible, but we would like you to agree a day and time so that we are clear on how much support we have at each event. We have a variety of opportunities and might be able to adapt them if you ask.
